After reading that the ‘Godfather of AI’, Geoffrey Hinton has joined the chorus of thinkers warning about the dangers of the tech he helped create, I thought it would be an apt time for an update on my own AI apocalypse - specifically, of the visual variety.
As you may know from previous posts, I’ve been immersing myself in the world of AI since January, using tools to create both text and image content. And, for reasons not hard to fathom, one of my core themes has been the apocalypse. Doomy, I know, but I’m actually quite impressed with some of the results. Perhaps best not to think too much about the symbology and any prophetic undertones though.
Before I present the pictures, I would just add that I haven’t gone ‘full AI’ - rather I use my own original drawings and photos as bases, which I then work with text prompts. Does this add anything? I like to think so, but then again who knows… this is uncharted territory!
